"Thatcher Dead" text mix up
This story made me laugh. Canada's transport Minister's cat, Thatcher (named after the iron lady), died so he texted friends "Thatcher had died". This soon lead to their prime minister being informed and it unraveled from there...

Hey Libcync, talking of the media, what do you think about the combined Murdoch/Tory press attack on the BBC. Do you agree that its main aim is to weaken the BBC news website etc so that we have to turn to pay to view content (the Times from the new year). What do you think the implications are for our democracy if the BBC news (I dont mind if they axe Strictly Come Dancing, Jonathan Ross or Eastenders) is reduced to say the level of ITN. Over to you (if you are interested),
